Overcoming Diet Failures: The Real Reasons We Don’t Succeed
Last weekend, I was interviewed on THRIVE with Marty The Healthy Guy (a local radio show) to discuss why so many of us struggle sticking to our diet and exercise plans.
You’d think behaviours that most of us view as important, eating healthy and exercising more, would be easy to implement. But as we can all attest, nothing could be further from the truth.
So if we all know what we should be doing, why then aren’t we doing it?
In this interview, I give my thoughts on the issue and more!
Specifically, I tackle issues like:
- How our fear of success is more critical than our fear of failure.
- When finding new friends might be the best thing you do for your diet,
- Why trying to follow a meal plan is as productive as teaching calculus to kindergarten kids.
- How WINNING at health leads to better success than trying to LOSE weight.
